1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pick Up

This 3100 is a very straight, solid and excellent fitting truck. It began restoration over 20 years ago receiving a brand new bed and wood floor, new paint, new glass and weather stripping. After the truck was painted there was some places lifting in the paint on the new bed where it didn't get cleaned properly during the paint preparation so the truck got put aside until the shop could get back to it but unfortunately 20 years went by before it was seen again. This truck would make someone a great starter project or someone wanting to build a patina restomod. Body and frame are all super solid. The truck does run and stop, we have driven it around the shop yard. A new gas tank was put in it when the truck was painted and brakes were all redone. The engine is a 216 I6 matted to a four speed manual transmission. We put a new carb on the motor and it seems to run fine and the clutch and transmission shift with no issues. This is a good solid clean platform to build whatever kind of truck you desire.
