1949 Chevrolet 3100

This super cool 1949 Chevrolet 5 window 3100 pick up has been built into the ultimate shop truck / cruiser / daily driver with that cool old patina style. The truck actually received a frame off build with a new sub-frame from a 79 monte carlo. This not only gave the truck a much smoother ride but also allowed the truck to have power steering, power disc brakes and a sway bar for better handling characteristics. The body of the truck is super solid throughout with no rot or rusted through areas in the body. Both cab corners and rockers look excellent.  The truck has new glass and weather stripping and a new sun visor was also added. The truck is powered by a smooth running 350 V8 backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt GM rear axle. A new aluminum radiator was added along with a complete new wiring harness. The interior received new Dolphin gauges, chrome tilt column, air conditioning and all new chrome hardware. Seats and door panels recovered in tan leatherette along with new carpet and headliner. The truck sits on a set of 18" Boss wheels. This is a fun driving truck that gets the thumbs up wherever it's seen. Great dependable pick up....
